Mudworks Ceramic Factory is both a contemporary Paint Your Own Pottery Studio and a fully equiped wheel-thrown pottery center. We still offer Paint Your Own Pottery with Ready to Paint Ceramics, but now we've added the new Pottery Center for thrown and handbuilt pottery! The Pottery Center also provides a separate facility for our birthday parties, art camps and special events.
At the POTTERY Center, we have four commercial electric pottery wheels available for rental. If you would like to learn how to throw pottery, or need a refresher course, we offer pottery classes taught by local potters. We'll also offer class & wheel time packages, plus toolkits, clays and glazes.
We have classes designed for all age groups and levels of skill. We keep our class size small, so it's important to reserve your class seat well in advance. Throwing and handbuilt pottery is a complementary craft to the Paint-Your-Own Ceramics and Ready to Paint Ceramics we offer currently. Mudworks Ceramic Factory is the premier Paint Your Own Pottery Studio in Hernando/Pasco/Citrus Counties and the only Contemporary Ceramics Studio and Pottery Center of its kind locally.
